April 20, 2010 Board Meeting Agenda Item #24 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #0535 FOR FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT AND COMMERCIAL GAS OPERATED APPLIANCE REPAIR Description Bids to provide 'Food Service Equipment and Commercial Gas Operated Appliance Repair' were received from two vendors on March 16, 2010. The bid of Bayside Restaurant Service, Inc., was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications. This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bid of Bayside Restaurant Service, Inc., to provide 'Food Service Equipment and Commercial Gas Operated Appliance Repair' in an amount not to exceed $55,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
